Chopin in the World

“Chopin in the World” is an annual magazine published by the Warsaw Secretariat of the International Federation of Chopin Societies. It has appeared since 1986, at first both in English and Polish but from 1989 it has been published exclusively in English. The journal also includes selected articles in French and German. It is the only magazine in the world entirely devoted to the personage of Fryderyk Chopin. With in-depth articles on the life and work of the Polish composer, the publication also includes information about the activities of Chopin Societies all over the world. In addition, the periodical publishes reports on the most important musical events related to Fryderyk Chopin.

“Chopin in the World” reaches many readers worldwide. It is sent to every Chopin Society affiliated to the Federation, associate members of the UNESCO International Music Council, music libraries, principal music colleges, Polish embassies and cultural institutions. The magazine is also available during Chopin festivals and concerts.
